Deadline #9, HW #1 Reading Reflection
This weeks reading helped me a lot in the way of defining and organizing my ideas and arguments. In chapter 7 it talked about determining if the argument of a paper or issue was fact and if it was a fact - is that fact sound. It talks about making claims yourself and being able to back them up. It says to first identify the issue and then reasearch your hypothesis. It says to refine your claim after you do research and I have been thinking about changing my hypothesis on my research paper since I have been doing more and more research on my paper. It talks about deciding what evidence to use and not use. Going over chapter 8 again was goo dto because it talks about Argments of definition. Formal and operational definitions and also definitoins by example. It helps me to form my old and new claim and crat definitions for them. Over all it has helped me develop a deffinition of argument. In Chapter 17 it talks about different was to get your argument across and it really focuses on emotional agruments. Such as either or choices and scare tactics. In the Bedford Researcher - it was good to read about organization and outlining skills because being organized is a good thing for reasearching a writing a paper.

The reading was extra helpful this week.
I'm also thinking that I need to change some things in my paper. I have almost completely changed who my audience is. Researching so much is definitly changing my opinion on some things!
